The Puffin Way
Puffins live in large colonies, but each pair maintains their own burrow. ​We want to embody this ethos of embracing community and welcoming all, while respecting each other's space, comfort and individuality.

Earth In Common
At Leith Community Croft, we create space for people, nature, and community to thrive together. Managed by Earth in Common, the Croft is a vibrant urban green space in the heart of Leith where food, nature connection, and wellbeing meet.

We grow seasonal produce using sustainable methods in our market garden, offer individual supporter memberships and growing plots, and host our weekly Market on the Croft. Alongside this we run our cafe, shop and venue hire - "Populus", and offer seasonal volunteer opportunities, workshops and events . All designed to connect people with the land and with each other.

Our mission is to build a more resilient, fair, and sustainable future where everyone has access to good food, green space, and a strong sense of belonging.

Earth in Common has also recently become the custodian of two former bowling green sites — one in Trinity and one in Corstorphine — with the goal of transforming them into thriving new urban crofts.
